You brandish the weapon used in the spell’s casting and make a melee attack with it against one creature within 5 feet of you. On a hit, the target suffers the weapon attack’s normal effects, and you invoke the power of the wind - Until the beginning of your next turn, your movement does not provoke opportunity attacks from the target you struck with this spell.
At Higher Levels. At 5th level, the target takes an additional 1d8 points of magical Slashing damage on a successful hit, as the wind itself tears at its body. This damage increases to 2d8 at 11th level, and 3d8 at 17th level.
