Urban Witch

An urban witch is attuned to the spirits of the street, capable of drawing on strange magic and containing it in drawing-like glyphs. These witches do not rely on familiars as a link to her patron, instead drawing on innate traditions of rumors and whispers.

Class: WitchPathfinder

Level: 1st, 4th, 8th

Replaces: Skills, Spellcasting, Familiar 1st Hex, 4th Hex, 8th Hex

Benefit: An Urban Witch receive the following class features:

Skills: An Urban Witch has 2 additional skills per level and add Bluff, Disable Device, Perception, Sense Motive and Survival to her class skill list.

Spellcasting: An Urban Witch uses her Wisdom instead of her Intelligence as her key spellcasting ability. An urban witch is a spontaneous caster, using the spell known and spell per day table as a Sorcerer. An urban witch adds her patron spells automatically to her spell known when she attain the correct level to cast them.

Urban Familiar (Su): An urban witch does not possess a single familiar, neither does she store her spells inside a familiar. Once per day with a 1 minute ritual, an urban witch may call a single familiar to her side. The familiar is usually a rat, squirrel, pigeon or other small urban animals. The familiar serves for 24 hours before returning to a normal animal of it kind. If an urban witch's familiar is killed she cannot summon another for 1 week, but otherwise suffer no ills.

Spell Graffiti (Ex): An urban witch is able to cast spells through a glyph and drawings on various surfaces. In order to do so she must cast a spell over the course of 1 minute, unless the casting time is higher. The witch may trigger the spell by completing the incantation as a swift action. If the spell was a personal spell, it affected whoever was touching the graffiti willingly. If the spell is targeted it only affects a creature standing in the same square as it. If the spell was an area of effect, it triggers as normal, centered on the square the graffiti was placed in.

The witch may have a number of spell graffiti equal to her Wisdom modifier. She can dismiss one or more graffiti as a standard action no matter the distance between herself and the spell graffiti. While a spell graffiti lasts indefinitely on its own, if the surface it is drawn is damaged or cleaned, it is destroyed.

Unseen Doors (Su): Whenever a 4th level witch enters a door, she may use a swift action to exit through another door within 30 feet. At 8th level the range of this ability increases to 60 ft. and to 120 ft. at 12th level. This is not a teleportation effect.

Urban Maze (Ex): At 8th level an urban witch can hex her opponent to become lost and unable to find their ways. The witch can attempt to hex one creature per class level, each allowed a Will save to negate the effect. A creature who fails its save will become lost in any constructed or urban environment they next visit within 24 hours, such as a dungeon or a city. This effectively behave as the maze spell, except the creature is not trapped in an extradimensional space. Once a creature escapes from their 'maze' the hex ceases to function and they cannot be affected again for 24 hours. This hex does not function in-combat, but allows a fleeing urban witch to easily lose her pursuers.
