Farmer[edit]

"We have to the harvest in before the first frost."

You cannot live without food, and who is going to make it? Certainly not the people in towns. Sure, they can process food, but to actually grow or cultivate it, you need lots of open space found outside of cities. While most farmers are commoners or experts, a few of them obtained the ability to cast a few low level spells.

Farmers in the Game: Farmers aren't playable as PCs. They lack the depth and tactical versatility to be an interesting character and they are not powerful enough to pull their weight in any real adventuring setup. They have a CR equal to one fourth their Farmer level and don't get multiclassed with real classes at all. Farmers here are meant to be the special ones that have an innate ability to do magic, but do not develop it far or for combat. Often, they own a great amount of land. Chances are, if a farmer is attacked and lived about it, it has this NPC class, and not commoner or expert.

Class Features[edit]

All of the following are class features of the Farmer:

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A farmer is adept with one simple weapon and no armors or shields.

Track Animals: Know direction and approximate direction of animal

Job Experience: After every successful harvest, a farmer gains 200 experience points.
