Unicorns are noble creatures, of light, valor and mirth. A few proud warriors choose to emulate their power and revelry to deadly effect. These warriors are the practitioners of the Prancing Mane discipline, unafraid to let their true colors shine; Knights in shining armor, brightly-colored silks or simply scant, revealing clothing, they dance across the battlefield like they're possessed by the spirit of love and the will of their favorite sparkle pants.

Game Mechanics of the Prancing Mane

Available To: Any

Discipline Skill: Perform (Any; Usually Dance) (Cha) - Practitioners of the Prancing Mane discipline use misdirection and mirth to distract, confuse and disable their opponents; This talent helps them bring forth and filter their inner light, to the point of blasting enemies with it.

Discipline Weapons: Cutlass, sword cane, lance, whip, rapier, flying blade, bladed scarf, flagstaff, glitterblade, hairblade, instrumental razorbow, bladed fan, combat parasol, pom-pom, ribbon dagger, ribbon whip, snake-sword, throwing cards, and war chime. - Prancing Mane focuses on nimble, distracting and disruptive weapons. 

Saves: 10 + maneuver level + Cha modifier. 

Special: Upon readying maneuvers, choose a single color from among Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet; This is your Spectrum, which affects the maneuvers you can use and their effects. Each time you initiate a non-Stance maneuver of the Prancing Mane discipline, your Spectrum shifts to the next color in line, in ROYGBIV order. While attuned to a color, you can only initiate maneuvers of that color, or of White color.

At any time when your Spectrum shifts, you can choose to shift it to White instead of the next color in line; While attuned to White, you can initiate any maneuver, and when you shift out of White, you can shift to any color of your choice, including the Spectrum you were attuned to before you shifted to White. However, you can only shift to White once - In order to refresh the ability to do so, you must initiate one maneuver of each Spectrum color, in order; Or you must rest for 5 minutes.
