The cleric laughed as he sprouted wings and fled high up into the sky. At some point his laughter faded, as did the cleric, until he was but a dot in the heavens.
What appears to be Wings of Flying does indeed fly. On its own. Straight up. Forever.
Once activated, the wings automatically begin to fly on their own, taking the wearer with it, straight up at a rate of 60 ft a round. Command words fail to revert the wings, so the wearer is faced with the option of removing the wings and falling to their doom, or flying up away from the planet forever, even into the depths of space. A remove curse spell can enable to wearer to command the wings to stop, upon which they fall. Of course, the next time they use it, the item will again attempt to fly into space.
Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, bestow curse, fly.
Cost to Create: 2700 gp, 216 EXP, 5 days.
