Wound Enemy [Salient Ability] Your blows will leave scars that will forever remind them of their crushing defeat at your hands.Prerequisites: Divine Rank 1, BAB +20Benefit: The affected weapon deals damage to a creature such that a wound it causes refuses to heal right. The damage you deal lowers the creature's maximum hp with each hit, up to the deity's divine rank. For example a rank 11 deity which hits for 50 damage deals 11 damage of that to their maximum hp, each hit. This damage cannot be regenerated or cured unless one of the following is applied:

  • They make a successful Heal check as a full-round action (DC 15 + the deity's rank)
  • They are given magical healing and the caster succeeds on a caster level check against the deity's character level + 11
  • They are affected by a regenerate spell.

Oh a critical hit, your divine rank for the purposes of damage to a creature's maximum hp is multiplied. For example, a rank 11 deity which makes a critical with a greataxe (x3) can deal 33 points of damage to the opponent's maximum hp total.

In addition, on a confirmed critical hit you deal a grievous wound that causes a cumulative -1 penalty to attack, saves, and skill checks and ability checks. These penalties last until the creature has been restored to its full normal maximum hp or they are affected by regenerate. Creatures which are immune to critical hits are immune to this latter ability. Special: Suitable for deities of Death, Pain, and War.
