  • Or as wielder's, if higher.
    • For a handheld instrument the size of a violin. Other instruments may be larger (such as a piano) or smaller (such as a flute).

In the corner of the bar, a piano sits. It plays quite well, despite no one sitting at the bench.

In order to pay back a favor to a friend in desperate need of an instrument that could play itself, the student Artificer Nikki created this type of Bot. It has no real uses save playing itself.

The Zenni-2 cannot move, cannot attack, and is useful only for playing music. It will start playing when instructed, and will continue to play until told otherwise.

Programming: The Zenni-2 possesses the following programs: Communicate, Job Function (Perform (self)), Mimic.

Zenni-2 Self-Playing Instrument are constructed out of a masterwork instrument, as well as some plastics, metals, and alloys. The cost of the base materials are as the base instrument +150 gp.

Assembling the body requires a DC 20 Craft (technology) check, a DC 20 Craft (Instruments), or a DC 20 Knowledge Xeno check.

CL 1st; Craft Construct, summon instrument; Price 1,000 gp; Cost 500 gp + 0 XP.

Self-Playing Instruments can be bound as familiars, in which case they are always Evil with the alignment of its owner on the Law-Chaos axis. It provides the master a +3 bonus to the Perform skill for instruments of its type. It is still unable to move and is almost always hateful for its sentience. It still is able to "talk to its master" and may "talk to other bots" through a series of beeps.
