You release a bullet of force penetrates and explodes outward.  They take 1d6 points of magic piercing damage per 2 levels, max 5d6 at 10th.  The bullet then explodes into a 30 ft cone behind the target dealing 1d6 points of force damage per 2 levels (max 5d6 at 10th) to all creatures behind them with a [[Reflex]] save for half.  The original target gets no save and is also subject to the force damage.  The cone can take it beyond its normal spell range.

This spell is very effective at breaching barriers.  It can bore through up to 12 - the object's hardness in inches through a material and continue on without exploding if you choose, dealing the piercing damage and continuing its path.  Both the piercing and force damage are not reduced before hardness.
