Enhance Spell [Metamagic] Your fireballs never go out of style.Benefit: The damage cap for your spells increases by 4 dice. An enhanced spell uses up a spell slot one level higher than the spell’s actual level. This feat has no effect on spells that don’t specifically deal a number of dice of damage equal to the caster’s level or half level, even if the spell’s effect is largely dictated by the caster’s level. You can apply this metamagic multiple times, each time increasing the cap it by another 4 dice and the spell level by one. Example: A CL 19 spellcaster casts an enhanced fireball at +2 spell level adjustment, setting the cap to 18d6. This is a 5th level spell.Normal: Without this feat, use the damage dice caps indicated in the spell’s description.Special: Unlike most metamagic, the DC of spells enhanced by this metamagic are increased with its higher spell slot. It still counts as a spell of its original level for all other purposes.
