Also, with my interpretation of this feat, you could take this feat at level 1 and then at level 6 you can remove it and replace it with a feat you can take at level 6. This is overpowered.  Lets say im a player joining a high powered game and start at level 4, I can say that I had taken this feat every time before hand and get 5 4th level feats(assuming I'm a human fighter).  What if I rebuild?  Then I can do the same thing.  Or a you could take this feat and wait.  When you need a feat, switch it to the one you need, this is really making the other feat more powerful. :The only reliable application of this feat would be the third prong of your argument, since I'm almost certain that you cannot take this feat more than once, so that eliminates using it to get better feats if you start at a higher level, and it also eliminates the horrible things that could happen if you rebuild. 

:And really, this feat was created so you could A. take the feat that builds off it and be able to kill and revive yourself as you please or B. switch it out for a more useful feat at a later date. That makes it an investment. You don't get any good benefits now, but you get a payoff later. Simple. Sure, it can be used to slightly take advantage of things (Perhaps 2 weapon fighting feats?
