This class shows the reason why spherecasting is a bad idea.
Compare this to the Tome Sorcerer, which is just a slightly more streamlined version of a normal Sorcerer. The Tome Sorcerer casts about like someone with 3 to 6 spheres at every level. That means level 2 and level 14. The Conduit of the Lower Planes casts like someone with 1 sphere at level 2, and like someone with 9 spheres at level 14. See the difference? I sure do, and it annoys me to no end. |
