I love the idea, and while it seems a bit powerful it is fairly well balanced! It doesn't feel too powerful unlike a lot of homebrew but I have not put it into practice so I can't really say much. Asides from that it does feel a bit lacking in lore. This is an easy fix for anyone putting it in their campaign as they could make up their own but I do feel that would be a nice section to add, just a few ways to introduce it and where it comes from and such.
