I don't mind the concept of ongoing damage. If you're on fire, it would make sense that you continued to take fire damage each round. If you were encased in a block of ice or skewered by an icicle, it would make sense that you continued to take cold damage each round. But those are functions of other attacks, and while they could be generalized to a condition like this they would certainly not be the typeless damage given here. The generalization only saves you about 3 short sentences in exchange for the lookup, which is barely a savings worth worrying about IMO. Even if the typeless thing was changed, I'm not sure I see the point.
I'm afraid that "what links here" doesn't work because of the navboxes. What actually uses Ongoing Damage? --174.61.170.65 20:43, 24 August 2013 (UTC)
