Canon talk:Deities

I've noticed a few deities are missing. How do I add them? --Nolanf (talk) 21:10, 16 October 2013 (UTC)

If they are deities based on published material, just create a new article Canon:Deity's name, putting the template "Canon Deity" on top, and giving the references. Canon:Vecna or Canon:Saint Cuthbert are examples. If you have any specific questions, please let me know. Daranios (talk) 20:20, 17 October 2013 (UTC)
Okay. Is there a template for that? How do I get started? --Nolanf (talk) 23:20, 17 October 2013 (UTC)
To my knowledge there is no template to create a new article - except including Template:Canon Deity. Creating a Canon article is no different than any other article (only observing our Canon requirements): Let the search function search for "Canon:Deity's name", e.g. "Canon:Bahamut". If there is no article for that deity yet, the result will give you:
Create the page "Canon:Deity's name" on this wiki!
Clicking on the red link will start the article. If you want, you can have a look here. There I have put the basic code for a deity page, you could copy it to the new page and fill it. Or you copy the code of an existing deity page and replace the content with the appropriate one. I hope that helps a bit. If you have any more, or specific questions, just let me know. Thanks. That helps a lot! --Nolanf (talk) 18:36, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
Return to "Deities" page.
