| While I do like this for attempting to make spellcasting per encounter (and for its ratios, is surprisingly similar to my own recharging PP variant), this doesn't actually change how powerful spellcasting is. Wizards can still do a quickened + high level spell in the first round of the encounter and for the most part decide the entire shape of the encounter. |
