Talk:Bloodletting Blade (3.5e Feat)

Idea

Somewhat based on Heart of Pure Darkness. I reimplemented it so that you sacrifice HP to deal extra damage. This feat certainly seems attractive to builds that use lots of attacks, so I might change it to be usable for only 1 attack per round (I would remove the precision damage thing if I did that). Suggestions are appreciated :). --Andrew Arnott (talk, email) 17:19, June 3, 2010 (UTC)

There's a first level Paladin spell that allows you to do just that, although once per round as you mentionned. It's called Divine Sacrifice and it evens lets you retry: the extra damage lasts until you succeed on an attack and does not fizzle if you miss. I guess that's an appropriate point of comparison. -HarrowedMind (talk) 02:27, 22 October 2012 (UTC)
