→Supernatural: Link-making
By default, supernatural abilities are magical and go away in an [[SRD:Antimagic Field|''antimagic field'']]. However, some creatures have psionic abilities that are considered supernatural. Psionic [[SRD:Feats|feats]] are also supernatural abilities. These abilities do not function in areas where psionics is suppressed.
Supernatural abilities of either type are not subject to [[SRD:Spell Resistance and Spell Immunity#Spell Resistance (Ex)|spell resistance]] nor power resistance. Supernatural abilities cannot be [[SRD:Dispel Magic|dispelled ]] and are not subject to [[SRD:Casting Spells#Counterspells|counterspells]]. Using a supernatural ability is a [[SRD:Standard Actions|standard action]] unless noted otherwise. Supernatural abilities may have a use limit or be usable at will, just like [[#Spell-like|spell-like abilities]]. However, supernatural abilities do not provoke [[SRD:Attack of Opportunity|attacks of opportunity]] and never require [[SRD:Concentration Skill|Concentration]] checks. Unless otherwise noted, a supernatural ability has an effective [[SRD:Caster Level|caster level]] equal to the creature’s [[SRD:Hit Dice|Hit Dice]]. The [[SRD:Saving Throw|saving throw]] (if any) against a supernatural ability is 10 + 1/2 the creature’s [[SRD:Hit Dice|HD]] + the creature’s ability modifier (usually [[SRD:Charisma|Charisma]]).
