Why +10?

What is the rationale for adding 10 to Str at each size category increase? I would hope not to actually have any Str bonuses, since it makes increasing size priority 1 for Str-based characters, even if their character concept doesn't really fit that. In addition, with the addition of More Stable Saves, this is effectively +5 Fort for a Str-based character.

Why Speed?

The bit about creatures that are slower than the attack penalty is dumb. Very dumb. To the point of "Reflex saves are invalid by the same logic" dumb. Here is what I suggest- attacks target a number of spaces equal to the penalty as an area attack, whose shapes is dependant on the nature of the attack (line for tail and tentacle, burst for slam and bites, etc.) Creatures who have the speed to get outside the area force tghe creature to make a regular attack roll. Creatures who lack this speed make a Reflex save for half damage.--Change=Chaos. Period. SC 19:37, 26 October 2011 (UTC)
