In addition to providing weapons, you may use them as a set of [[3D Maneuver Gear (3.5e Equipment)|3D Maneuver Gear]] with the accompanying [[3D Maneuver Gear Proficiency (3.5e Feat)|3D Maneuver Gear Proficiency]]. The tentacles are supple enough to allow manipulation of items at reach, though you cannot wield items and any attempts at dexterous checks do so at a -2 penalty.
