Qualinesti is the elven nation in Ansalon that was founded by Kith-Kanan after he and his followers decided to separate from their original nation of Silvanesti. At the beginning of theWar of the Lance it was decided by the then Speaker of the Sun, Solostaran Kanan, that Qualinesti was to be evacuated to save the elven people.
