Dragons would bring food to the tribe in exchange for the tribe protecting the dragon's treasure while it was away.There are often two or three warring tribes in one volcano. Their tribe leader is usually the strongest warrior in the tribe, if anyone disagrees with a chieftain's decision they can challenge him to a duel, the winner is declared the new chieftain and the loser is exiled from the tribe. Scorians are very loyal and dislike dispute within the tribe, due to this challenges are far and few between. The Chieftain will also usually take the feelings of his tribe to heart when making decisions to avoid conflict within the tribe.

Scorians are born red, older Scorians are grey and black due to constantly living around the ash and obsidian of their volcano home. You can often  tell the age of a Scorian by looking at its coloration. They are physically large, the smallest are the size of normal humans. Scorians often lose and regrow teeth, which are often given to others as signs of love or great respect. Their scales are touch and very good insulators. Due to their high body heat their blood is very thick and contains less water than most other creatures, this also gives them less need to drink water than most creature, unless they plan on using much of their venom then hey will need the same as others. They prefer to eat meat raw to save time as their bodies often cook and digest food a the same time.

Playing a Scorian is not for the faint of heart. Scorians are often focused solely on survival as they are almost always at risk of freezing to death. They must eat more than their fellow adventurers to make sure  they will always be able to produce venom on top of fighting. They must also be careful not to touch their party members due to their high body heat. They are usually very loyal to their teammates and absolutely hate any fighting within the group. They are usually very careful not to pick sides and try to end infighting at any cost.

Trasc is a Scorian fighter. He left his home volcano due to a dispute with the tribe leader. He became an adventurer in search of a new volcano to call home. He carries torches around constantly breathing in the fire rather than carry the extra food needed for venom production.

Threx is a Scorian  ranger. He uses his custom bow with steel wire instead of normal bowstring too keep the string from snapping due to high heat. He has found a magical candle that always stays lit. He has it attached to his bow in order to light his venom. He left his home because he had been bored with volcano life and simply wanted to see the wonders of the outside world.

Wyen is a Scorian sorceress. She uses her fire elemental spells both for combat and to keep herself warm. She left her tribe to run from an arranged wedding to a rival clans chieftain. She would rather be exiled and die than marry someone she doesn't love.

Scorian

Scorian are a tribal race of cold blooded volcano dwelling lizard men. Cold blooded is misleading since they must keep their body temperature above the boiling point of water to survive. Due to this most will never leave their volcano of origin.
