The biggest one is the clause that Sorcerers automatically lose the spell, which has no precedent in the game; might as well say that after 5th level or so, you can replace this spell for its more powerful version through the usual spell exchange version. The other really applies to the higher-level versions of the spell, but Fiery Burst feels more powerful than this spell, even if it takes advantage of your BAB. Doesn't really seem like VH material; it could easily fit High. | ||

It's a nice low-level spell, but there's a few things that bother me. The biggest one is the clause that Sorcerers automatically lose the spell, which has no precedent in the game; might as well say that after 5th level or so, you can replace this spell for its more powerful version through the usual spell exchange version.
