:I considered making individual pages for each power, but decided that because of all the campaign-specific themes and limitations that will be going into this class, it likely wouldn't be too useful to anyone outside my gaming group and thus wouldn't be mainspace-worthy. I'm also not too fond of the idea of throwing something into the mainspace before I have a full idea of where it's going! Once I figure those things out (maybe I'll surprise myself and keep the Devira-specific rules out enough that it's playable in other campaigns), I'll revisit placing the class in the mainspace. | :I considered making individual pages for each power, but decided that because of all the campaign-specific themes and limitations that will be going into this class, it likely wouldn't be too useful to anyone outside my gaming group and thus wouldn't be mainspace-worthy. Welcome
Hello! Welcome to the wiki. I see you're hard at work on a new 4e class. Just a couple of things I wanted to point out:
- The power lists pages are made with a handy template (see Black Lion Powers (4e Power List) for an example). So you don't need to put too much into the power list in your sandbox right now.
- The powers will need to each go on their own page (you can use the Add New 4e Power link for this) so that they show up in all of the right places around the wiki (assorted keyword power lists, the class power list with the template, etc.) If you need to call any powers directly, you can do that by adding {{:Power Page Name}} to the page where you want the power to show up.
If you have any questions or need help with anything else, please let me know or feel free to ask in chat. See ya around :-) - Tarkisflux 17:37, 16 February 2011 (UTC)
- I considered making individual pages for each power, but decided that because of all the campaign-specific themes and limitations that will be going into this class, it likely wouldn't be too useful to anyone outside my gaming group and thus wouldn't be mainspace-worthy.
