+ | :::Wow. Reading Mike's articles about Buffing the Fighter Class and now May 14th's Nerfing the Wizard Class, for 5e are kinda strange. I've stopped thinking that these guys are working from scratch. That they are just trying to fix a rocky history again and again. And I still haven't figured out what was so wrong with 4th Edition yet that you would need a entire 5th Edition to fix? As someone who enjoyed 3.5 and then the 4e Revolution, this whole thing is really starting to feel like a slap in the face. I wish I could just tell these guys to leave the Dice alone go build an MMO video game. Sheesh. --[[User:Jay Freedman|Jay Freedman]] 11:19, 16 May 2012 (UTC) (It really was RSODD.) |

October 20th and Editing
- Went through my contributions. Guess even the histories got ported. No wonder the switch took so long. Anyway, went through a few old submissions. Looks like the pics didn't make the cut. I deleted most of them. Makes the articles look cleaner but bare. Whatever. They probably need new pics anyway.
- I don't have anything new either. Stopped playing. Lost interest in the game, I guess. 4e can do that to you. Don't know why I still care really. Guess I feel a connection with the work. Maybe I still love these boys and what they stand for. What the stood up against. Heh. I like to think its the later. Maybe I'm just a resident of internet these days. Who knows. Either way, you probably don't care. But if you do? Just help these boys out, okay. Surgo will need all the help he can get. Haha. ...Peace. --Jay Freedman 10:25, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

Stopped adding the Black Lion Powers to the site. The Powers List is not displaying them correctly, so there is currently no reason to upload more. Once the error is fixed I will finish bringing the powers up to speed. Thx. --Jay Freedman 00:22, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
- (Largely copied from Surgo's talk) Yeah, it's a DPL error. One that we're not going to fix in favor of migrating to semantic data for 4e like we have for 3.5e. I've thrown up a few ask querries on the black lion power page that you can copy/paste/adjust for the rest of the page to make it work properly. I could even make it include the full powers if you wanted, but I think we were avoiding that for page length reasons. In any case, it's functional enough for you to continue if you want.
- On an related topic, as long as we're going to be updating the section are there any changes you'd like to see? Like all of the level 1 powers on the same page instead of individual pages or anything?. - Tarkisflux 01:27, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
- The closer it looks to the Wizard's Handbook, the better. I enjoy the idea of a page just for powers. But a list of links to individual powers? Bleh. Now, you could argue that Power Creation works great with the individual Template already. Ya know, uploading them one at a time. But seriously, it would be better if I could just type in all the code for a dozen Powers and then hit Save. If you want to argue page length, then look at the Handbooks already. They are just pages and pages of Powers. Thats Wizard's presentation anyway. Meh. My opinion would be adding the individual Power Template to the Powers List and copy/paste as you go. One big list of powers. Not a list of links. But thats just me. Haha. --Jay Freedman 02:00, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
The Black Lion
Finally managed to get that puppy up and running. I'll skip the Optimized Build. With all the new content hitting the web these days, the build won't stay perfect forever. New choices will become available that will save a build time and energy. Still, its probably a viable build anyway. Whatever. --Jay Freedman 12:40, 16 November 2010 (UTC)

About 5e NEXT
Playtesting for the core rules starts at the end of May. I for one will be right on top of it. Yes! Let's see what the boys come up with this time. :D --Jay Freedman 05:34, 9 May 2012 (UTC)
- Screaming amounts of fail and fan disappointment? Oh wait, today isn't Randomly Shit On Dreams Day. My bad. - MisterSinister 05:40, 9 May 2012 (UTC)
