A Reischwert is a well-balanced bastard sword typically used elite mounted soldiers: with its an elaborated handguard and heavy blade, designed for effective slashing blows but also for precise thrusts, the Reitschwert is a finesse weapon. A character  can use a Reitscwhert in conjunction with the Weapon Finesse feat, applying her Dexterity bonus (if any) to melee attacks she makes with the weapon. A character without Exotic Weapon proficiency (bastard sword) can use a Reiscwhert two-handed as a martial weapon and  also apply the Weapon Finesse feat (if any) only if using the weapon in two hands.

3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
