:Also, do you think that movable Keen that doesn't add to the price of the weapon is a bad thing? I've also pictured Keen as a nice but boring enhancement, which I'd want, but not at the price of a +1 enhancement (counting both gold and bonus). I think I will probably increase the cost of the Least version. --The bluez in the dungeon (talk) 07:13, 12 September 2021 (UTC)

::I'd say swapping the Least and the Lesser would be a good move.  Keen is actually really good used appropriately.  It's only nice on a typical weapon, but on a particularly wide crit range (18-20), or a particularly high crit range (x4), or the rare combination (19-20/x3), it's very good.  A keen rapier threatens a crit more than 1 time out of 4, which can be extended more with other sources.

::To be fair, though, part of the appeal of Keen is just how satisfying a crit can be.  Either way, the bonus to confirmations feels weaker to me.  I don't think a moveable Keen is necessarily a bad thing, I just think that it's way too cheap at the current price.  Compare to the SRD:Scabbard of Keen Edges which costs 16k for less than 3 hours of keen a day as an action as opposed to as a constant effect.  That's probably overpriced for its effect, but I've also always been really bad at judging prices on things.  --Undead_Knave (talk) 09:08, 13 September 2021 (UTC)

Oof

The Least version of this crystal is Keen that you can move around and doesn't add to the price of the weapon. It also only costs as much as a +1 weapon, so you could actually get this before a Keen weapon (because of needing the +1 first). --Undead_Knave (talk) 07:00, 12 September 2021 (UTC)

I had the idea to swap the least and lesser effects, but maybe 8.000 for Keen is a bit much. Would you suggest to increase the least's price or to swap them and decrease that of the lesser crystal?
Also, do you think that movable Keen that doesn't add to the price of the weapon is a bad thing? I've also pictured Keen as a nice but boring enhancement, which I'd want, but not at the price of a +1 enhancement (counting both gold and bonus). I think I will probably increase the cost of the Least version. --The bluez in the dungeon (talk) 07:13, 12 September 2021 (UTC)
I'd say swapping the Least and the Lesser would be a good move.
To be fair, though, part of the appeal of Keen is just how satisfying a crit can be.
