| While I like the general item, getting a +3 armor bonus that stacks with virtually everything else just from killing a troglodyte is no bueno IMO. |

only thing keeping this from a favor rating in my mind is that in my oppenion it should provide a armor bonus and not a natural armor bonus |
- Seconded. Dragonhide, for example, is skin-based (as is leather, for that matter), and still gives an armor bonus to AC. --Ghostwheel (talk) 17:06, 16 April 2015 (UTC)
