This build assumes the use of Cross-Style Training. If you read this and have any ideas of how I can improve it, please let me know!

Monk of the Passive Way 2/Psychic Warrior 1/Fighter 1/Psychic Warrior +1/War Mind 5/Crusader 1/War Mind+5/Knight 3/Fighter +1

32 point buy: Str 10, Dex 16, Con 14, Int 12, Wis 16 Cha 8

I assume power retraining is allowed. Otherwise the build is really weak until War Mind 2 or so.

Improving the Build

Spiritual_Weapon_(3.5e_Feat) can reduce MAD significantly. Swap weapon finesse for it.

Alternate Build Idea

Trade 5 War Mind levels for 5 Psionic Weapons Master levels. This gives Wisdom to the number of AoOs you can do in a round. You can also trade the second fighter level for a 6th Psionic Weapons master level so that you still have 8th level Warmind manifesting.

Requires: Power Attack, Dodge, Mobility, Psionic Dodge, and Weapon Focus by level 12 (yuck)

Halfling Boomerang Master

I have only figured out the first 6 levels for this build, but it seems to work really well so far. I use 6 levels of fighter because it is very feat intensive and I need full BAB to make the build go online as fast as possible. This build only works in the Ebberon Campaign Setting (unless your DM allows importing of boomerangs and the related feats as well as Ghostwheel's homebrew).

Highlights

  • At level 6, he provokes an AoO against all enemies within 15ft.
  • Every attack he makes can hit an adjacent target if the first attack hits
  • Every attack he hits with causes a Fort save DC 10 + damage dealt or the target is dazed 1 round. This can interrupt actions with a successful AoO!

Some classes that would be nice to pick up are:

  • Rogue (sneak attack)
  • Master Thrower (I think palm throw would work)

Actually, here is something that would be nice and optimized (the slower progression to go online is offset by maneuvers):

Fighter 4/Warblade 1/Master Thrower 1/Bloodstorm Blade 2/War Mind 5/Master Thrower +4/X 3

With thunderous throw from the bloodstorm blade, the character can totally stack the War Mind's sweeping strike with the Boomerang Ricochet. This means that he can hit 2 targets that are adjacent and (technically) make a second attack against each of those targets with ricochets.

The Stormguard Warrior feat would work nicely (combat rhythm + thunderous throw). Round 1, make 16 (4 attacks that ricochet 2 times and sweep 2 times) melee touch attacks to gain a bonus +40 damage to attacks next round against 2 targets. Next round loose those boomerangs for a crapton of damage and a retarded daze save DC. Add in rapid shot and haste and you get 24 attacks adding +60 damage to attacks against 2 targets the next round.
