The touched creature and focus become inexorably linked to each other; while the item is worn, the creature stops aging, accruing no penalties or bonuses from the time that passes for it. Should the item be cast off for longer than 24 hours or destroyed, the creature immediately ages, possibly accruing age categories. Even if this spell is recast or the item is worn once more, accrued age categories do not disappear. Should its maximum age be reached with the destruction or removal of the item, it immediately ages to Venerable and gains one negative level per day, which can't be removed by any means until it has retrieved the item or had the spell recast upon it.
Focus: Nonmagical piece of wearable clothing (such as a ring, tunic, trousers, hat, bracers, and so on) whose price is at least 5,000 gp. After this ritual the item may not be made magical. The item becomes especially durable however, and gains a hardness of 20 (unless its hardness was greater beforehand) and its HP triple.
