This spell conjures a focused beam of destructive negative energy from the caster's outstretched hand. All creatures caught within the area, or starting their turn in it, take 1d6 damage per caster level, half of the damage is typeless damage and the other half is negative energy. This negative energy does not heal undead or other creatures healed by it, but does not damage them. A successful Reflex save halves the damage.
When the caster concentrates on this spell she may freely move the line to a new area. If the caster moves after casting this spell it immediately ends.
