Ascetic Wilder [General]
You are a practitioner of one of the many styles comprising the kalashtar path of shadows, such as the Tashalatora. Mixing meditation, raw psionic power, and movement have taught you to become psionically focused more easily while distracted.Prerequisites: DEX 13, WIS 13, Improved Unarmed Strike, Narrow Mind, manifester level 1st.Benefit: You can become psionically focused
as a move action that doesn't provoke attacks of
opportunity. If you have levels in wilder and monk, those levels
stack for the purpose of determining your AC bonus. If you would be allowed to add your Wisdom bonus to AC (such as for an unarmored/unencumbered monk), you
can instead add your Charisma bonus to your AC. In addition, you can multiclass freely between the
wilder and monk classes.
Example: A kalashtar 4th-level wilder/1st-level monk would
have a +1 bonus to AC as if he were a 5th-level monk.Normal: Becoming psionically focused takes a full-round action.Special: Ascetic Wilder can be used in place of the Psionic
Meditation feat (see Expanded Psionics Handbook) to qualify
for a feat, prestige class, or other special ability.
