Rewrite history and everyone's memories of it. 5th level.

Yeaaaaah no.

I think I know what the rebuttal might be, "but it has such a weak mechanical effect". Of course, I wouldn't say literally rewriting the plot is 'weak', but even if you don't buy that there is something to be said for keeping certain spells at high level for flavor and world consistancy reasons. Immortality doesn't have a mechanical effect, so one could justify "Make Immortal" as a 1st level spell, except now you have a world where anyone with a bit of spellcasting is immortal, and all the sociopolitical changes which result from that.

What I'm saying is that is is a plot-rewriting effect. It should be the realm of gods.... high level casters, not middle-of-the-road casters. This, incidentally, is half of my arguement against those silly World Dominator powers like the one that teleports planets. It's no better than a 1st level Make Immortal spell.

Eiji gives it 4 out of stereo system angry squares of displeasure. -- Eiji-kun 06:01, 10 February 2012 (UTC)

This one doesn't effect memory in the slightest, which is why I lowered the level. Possibly a bit too much. And I'm considering moving it to the World Dominator list, which you love so much. --Foxwarrior 06:18, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
