Ki Focus ambiguity

"While your Ki is focused, you may cast spells that you already know as if they were spells of one level higher." Is this referring to spell level, caster level, either, or both? I have no clue, really. --Luigifan18 (talk) 17:34, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

Spell level. "... as if they were spells of one level higher." As far as I know, this would only affect the spell's saving throw. I'm open to suggestions, though. I know that it can sometimes be pretty kick-ass to modify spells for a higher level of caster. Let me know what you think. --Nolanf (talk) 18:57, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

Cancel that. I just changed the wording so that the Ki focus modifies the caster level, not the spell level... I just like it better this way. --Nolanf (talk) 21:05, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

Begging for feedback

Hey, everybody who stumbled upon this page, probably while looking for something more important.
I just finished homebrewing a prestige class that was, in my opinion, a long time coming. In fact, I was surprised that no one seems to have done something like this before... not that I searched that hard. I mean, I found the Ki Master base class which was pretty much what I was looking for, but nothing for those poor schmucks who were dedicated to keeping their original monk character.
