Cala'diel (5e Campaign Setting)/Races/Gnome

As far as game mechanics go the gnomes work the same way they do in the players handbook. This section will only list, by sections of the gnomes race in the 5th edition handbook, things that have changed as far as this setting goes.

Gnomes changes for Cala'diel

• Vibrant Expression: No changes.

• Delighted Dedication: No changes for the most part. Age is changed. Gnomes have a life span of 70 years.

• Bright Burrows: No changes for the most part. Their lifespan is shorter so they would be unable to tutor generations of humans. On the continent of Athlon gnomes are mostly found settling in the Crish region. They have no notable villages and are mostly found in the hills of Crish. Crish is just the most common place to find them, but they could be found almost anywhere in Athlon.

• Gnome names: No change.

• Seeing the World: No change.

• Gnome Traits: No change mechanic wise. Age is changed as stated above. Forest and Rock gnomes are both found most commonly in the Crish region. Deep gnomes have no homeland and not found in this setting.
