Drowned One Overview [1]
A sorcerer pirate, Syrgaul, and his crew claimed allegiance to Orcus, the demon lord of the undead.
When they were sunk and drowned, off Firewatch Island, he called out to his fiendish patron. Orcus heeded his call and imbued Syrgaul and his crew with undeath, transforming them into Drowned Ones. They built the Pit of Hatred, a rift to the Abyss that can transform corpses into drowned ones.
Drowned ones are carriers of Bluerot, a deadly disease.
