Fairy Ring (5e)

Unofficial Summary: Fairy rings are a means of traversing from or to the Feywild. They consist of a 20-foot-diameter ring of colorful toadstools. When the right ritual (words and/or actions) are performed by a creature in the ring they are transported to or from the Feywild.
Uncorrupted Fairy Rings[edit]
Normal fairy rings will sometimes have a swarm of campestris singing and dancing inside it. The method of activating a particular fairy ring may differ from area to area; a successful DC 20 Intelligence (Arcana) check, may recall enough folklore to know how to activate a particular ring.
Corrupted Fairy Rings[edit]
Corrupted fairy rings have no campestris, but often have Awakened Toadstools. The toadstools scatter when an unauthorized creature enters the ring, temporarily breaking the fairy ring.
