Geoffry has gone through many identities (including this one, as a human) throughout his life. He recieved martial training from a number of sources, at one point trying to join a monastery (though he got kicked out immediately due to being impatient and violent). However, he keeps most major details of his life hidden to prevent anyone from linking any of his identities. He most recently was involved in underground fighting circles. He managed to do very well in these not only due to his large proficiency in beating people senseless, but also due to his ability to disguise himself: wealthy fighters would often arrange attacks on competitors to weaken the competition, but Geoffry only assumed his identity while fighting. However, after a few too many close calls of getting caught, he decided to try his hand at adventuring instead, to satisfy both his desire for riches and punching things.
