I disagree on the rest. I like the concept of making weapons unique by basically making them weapon-specific tactical feats. :Also, given the requirement of EWP for the use of the abilities, one could just consider the EWP the equivalent of a [Tactical] feat with one of the options being "You may wield a Gigas Mace without a -4 penalty for non-proficiency.
