Amongst the ever changing quiltwork of fractured kingdoms, loose confederations, and independant city states the blend of foreign cultures and new conquests brings new ideas to old techniques. =Classes=Base classes==Due to the nature of Kryptiea, its diversity and constant conflict almost all classes are valid choices to play. Some things to keep in mind are that there is no extraplanar contact, meaning clerics, warlocks, and other classes that derive their powers from outside the mundane plane must draw it from within or if it is not possible, they are non-playable. Please check with your DM if you are unsure about your class.
==Base classes=Cleric===Clerics receive their spells like an Adept does; "receiving them as divine inspiration or through their own strength of faith." While Clerics in Kryptiea may still be devoted to a particular deity or faith for the purposes of game mechanics they count as not devoted to a particular deity when picking their domains "If a cleric is not devoted to a particular deity, he still selects two domains to represent his spiritual inclinations and abilities. The restriction on alignment domains still applies"
