There is a legend among some of the more talkable residents of the lawful outer planes. It is a tale of a inevitable of great power known as Mull the Indictor, who had stories of myth defeating great chaos entities and bringing order to the lawless universe. Some claim he is an ancient being which was involved in writing the first laws of the universe. Others say he is recent and real, only awakening from his slumber in times of dire need to rescue the world from madness. But it may just be that he is but a story which has simply been believed to the point where faith has given him form. Whatever the case is , the inevitables of Mechanus know that even if Mull did not exist, does not exist, or will not exist, it is a mathmatical certainty that one day the ultimate inevitable will appear to defeat chaos.
