| I agree with Fox, except that I believe Sorcerer should be rewarded since it doesn't have much else going for it. If it were me, I'd make it so that the spells cast as part of a Gatling spell use the save DC as the spell slot it was cast from (Thus, using a 9th-level slot would allow you to use the base DC of 19 for all the saves), but I believe that only one save-triggering effect from a single Gatling spell should be able to affect an individual target. This allows you to spread buffs, but there would be less futile rolling due to low DC, and there would be less problem with save stacking. |

| Maybe there's a reasonable number of copies of a spell to cast for +5 levels, although I kind of doubt it due to the possibility of SoD/SoS stacking.
However, a value that scales randomly with how many spell slots your class happens to get in their lower spell levels is definitely not the balanced number. |
