Blast Radius[edit]

Considering how long it takes for the impact to actually happen, I think the blast radius and damage could be much, much higher. 10,000 tons of iron works out to being about... 8000 5ft cubes I think. LenKagetsu (talk) 21:03, 5 April 2015 (UTC)

Actually 10,000 metric tons would be about 1,300 cubic metres of iron meteorite, and an average diameter of roughly 43.5 feet. Going out from a mostly chondrite type meteorite which is mostly rock, that'd be about 60 feet. Either way, I don't know yet how big the blast should be to achieve some form of balance that is acceptable.
Note, its blast radius is already larger than the tactical nuke epic spell, with the actual time spent casting is shorter. It just takes a little longer to fall. --Sulacu (talk) 21:24, 5 April 2015 (UTC)
