Power type[edit]
a slight question of flavor... why is it arcane power summoned? I can see why it's "not" divine but neither seem to fit.
So, may i throw out the "sanctified" power from the BoED, which is available to any "good" spellcaster. which togepi's evolutions always are.--Snafusam (talk) 21:52, 23 January 2014 (UTC)
- Uh...Sanctified isn't really a separate type of power from "Arcane"/"Divine" like you're suggesting. It's a subset of divine magic, if anything. --68.187.81.126 06:10, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
- Hmm, I'm not seeing that anywhere... My reasoning is Taken straight from the BoED.
"Sanctified spells are specific to no character class. They are neither inherently arcane nor divine spells.
A divine caster casting a sanctified spell casts it as a divine spell, while an arcane caster casts it as an arcane spell." -BoED, page 83
True that clerics have an advantage to casting spontaneous sanctified spells.
"Sanctified/Corrupt" magic can currently be perceived as either a separate type of energy or a subtype of both arcane/divine which is used by either (the concept of pure energy takes advantage because Sanctified/corrupt are "neither inherently arcane nor divine spells".
Either way, 'sanctified' be it pure or subtype would be a better energy lable for these powers.--Snafusam (talk) 21:59, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
