| This isn't usable unless your DM happens to be a rather decent game designer and works up rules for you to use this. As that usually isn't the case, and putting that sort of necessary and unavoidable mandatory design pressure on a DM, I cannot recommend the usage of this article. Having a few magical abilities already listed out with mechanics and then a notation saying "you can make your own, judge them against these, here are rules for doing so" would be entirely different and probably okay. As this is essentially a reflavored human with magical abilities in place of a bonus feat of choice, it's not terrible, it just doesn't provide everything to be playable. Also, ECL 0 isn't a thing (as a note). |
