| This is badly unbalanced. The most obvious is "get a template that increases your CR by 10". The tentacle bonuses are totally out of balance too. Obviously you'll take swift action and then after that you get a swift-action, area save-or-lose. WTF. By the time you hit the first level of this class you have a 20' radius spread that causes insanity. By the time you hit level 3, you get to do it as a swift action. Your most powerful invocation now does double the work. That's just bad design.
Furthermore, there's nothing really "alienist" about this. "Tentacle master" would be a more apt name. |
