== Ballistic Armor ==

The ballistic armor is an advanced exotic light armor. It is only made of flexible but highly resistant fabric. It is essentially the [[Royal Plate (3.5e Equipment)|Royal Plate]] of the light armors.

A suit of a ballistic armor is made of highly resilient fabric, very popular in elite forces that need both mobility and protection. When made out of [[Kevlarium (3.5e Equipment)|kevlarium]] and other fabric materials, it grants benefits as if it was heavy armor. Ballistic armor is always masterwork. 

A wearer with the appropriate exotic armor proficiency increases the armor's [[SRD:Armor Qualities#Armor/Shield Bonus|armor bonus]] and [[SRD:Armor Qualities#Maximum Dex Bonus|maximum Dexterity bonus]] by +1 and reduces the armor's [[SRD:Armor Qualities#Armor Check Penalty|armor check penalty]] by 2. A proficient wearer can hide ballistic armor under his/her clothing with no penalty.</onlyinclude>
