Ballistic Chestplate

A high-end light armor, the ballistic chestplate is a fabric cuirass made of reinforced fabric. While such armor mostly only covers the chest, with leg guards and arm guards, it is worn over reinforced clothes to maximize the protection it offers.

A ballistic chestplate is an expensive fabric light armor, often used by elite forces that need both mobility and protection. A suit of ballistic armor applies half of its armor bonus on touch attack made with firearms. A ballistic chest plate can be made of special fabric materials.
