This spell causes the target's body to start separating in various components. The target immediately takes 1d6 points of damage per caster levels (maximum of 15d6), and is [[SRD:Stunned|stunned]] for 1 round. A successful [[Fortitude]] save negates the stunning but not the damage. Each round you concentrate on this spell, the target must succeed on a [[Fortitude]] save or take 2d6 damage and become [[SRD:Staggered|staggered]] for 1 round. If the target succeeds on two consecutive [[Fortitude]] save the spells ends automatically.

If the target is slain by the spell's damage, then its body is violently rendered apart and become unsuitable for spells such as [[SRD:Raise Dead|''raise dead'']].
