|effect=Whenever your hit points are reduced below your ECL you become [[SRD:Shaken|shaken]], ignoring any immunity to fear-effect you may have.

If a creature that you know can destroy your soul (such as a barghest) is within line of sight. You cannot run or charge in their direction, and your move speed is halved when moving toward them. If the first effect of this flaw activate within 60 ft. of such a creature, you are [[SRD:Frightened|frightened]] instead of [[SRD:Shaken|shaken]].

|special=If the character is in a setting with no afterlife, or in any situation where their death would lead to no afterlife, the second of this flaw, you are [[SRD:Frightened|frightened]] instead of [[SRD:Shaken|shaken]] when this flaw activates.
