==Aspergillum==
[[Summary::A rare enhancement popular with which turn a mace head into an aspergillum, a device capable of sprinkling holy water.]] The Aspergillum Enhancement can only be added to a mace or mace-like bludgeoning melee weapon. A mace with this enhancement possesses a partly hollowed head and magically sealed canals which sprinkles holy water when used to attack. A mace enhanced with the aspergillum enhancement can be loaded with [[SRD:Holy Water|holy water]] as a standard action which provokes an attack of opportunity. Thanks to its magical nature, the mace head does not risk any unintentional leaks.

When loaded with holy water, each attack made with the mace deal extra damage to vulnerable creatures as if struck by a flask of [[SRD:Holy Water|holy water]]. While loaded, successful attacks against incorporeal undead with the mace will deal holy water damage to it even if the attack would normally miss because of its incorporeality. After 10 hits the holy water in the mace head become depleted, however the remaining droplets still allows aspergillum to deal an extra point of damage to creatures damaged by  [[SRD:Holy Water|holy water]] for the remainder of the day. 

Additionally as a standard action, the wielder may cover an adjacent 10-ft square with mist of vaporized [[SRD:Holy Water|holy water]]. The mist act as an [[SRD:Obscuring Mist|''obscuring mist'']] spell, but cause all creatures who start their turn in it or pass through it to be damaged as if they were struck by [[SRD:Holy Water|holy water]]. The mist lasts for 1 round + 1 round for each attack granted by base attack bonus the wielder possesses. Using this function count as two attacks for

A mace with the aspergillum enhancement can also be loaded with [[Consecrated Acid (3.5e Equipment)|Consecrated Acid]]. However each attack deals 1 point of acid damage to the wielder.
